Programming Sabers Out of Band Read Data from your Radio Edit the Radio Channel Defination , ignore the Tx and Rx Frequencies. Program the Tx PL , Rx PL ; Pre/Deemphasis ; MDC ID on PTT etc . . . Save Codeplug Data to Archive File with Filename ( eg : saber1 ) Exit the RSS. Open the Dictionary file RPFDATA.DCT and find the line that contains the filename , model number , option number and a eight character filename for the actual programming file. eg : saber1 H44SAN7139CN H99SA000H ABCDABCD Open the eight character filename with EDITOR and look for the lines that begin with S2 . . . . Enter the new Rx and Tx frequencies in HEX ( with ref. to the above table ) Save the file and exit the EDITOR. Open the RSS . Load the file and program the radio . Don't try to look at it in the Radio Channel Definition window, or it will reset to discard the Out of Band Frequencies GOOD LUCK ! |
